This fully online 90-minute asynchronous microcredential will ensure your students are equipped with crucial beginner research skills, such as: choosing and/or narrowing a topic; finding appropriate sources; evaluating those sources and synthesizing information; and, citing any information to give credit where it’s due.
Any participant who completes the module and passes the assessment will receive a certificate.
Please help us jury the MU Libraries 2025 Spring Art Exhibition! Cast your vote for your favorite student work and favorite work over-all. One vote per person. Voting closes Tuesday, February 4th @ 11:59 p.m.
View the exhibit in Drinko Library through the end of the spring semester or view the digital gallery at: https://libguides.marshall.edu/libraryartexhibitions
Collaborate with subject-specific librarians on customized research tutorials, videos, how-to modules, and guides that can be added to your BlackBoard course. If you have already collaborated with a librarian in the past on tutorials or guides, please review those to ensure the content is ready (and let us know if it's not!). Planning ahead means we can meet your students' needs when and where they need us, and we look forward to working with you.
Now is the time to request in-person or synchronous/asynchronous library instruction for this semester (or, if you plan ahead, for next semester!). Library faculty are happy to visit your classes, collaborate on specific assignments, work with you to create research modules, and everything in between. Requesting early means securing us for your course schedule/syllabus to complement your research assignment deadlines.
