International Students' Library Guide: Journals

This guide is for all international students to assist with your information and research needs.

Searching for journals through the Library website

Use Journals Search to find out if the libraries have a particular journal (also called a periodical). Journals Search will also identify what formats (for example print, online, or microfilm) are available. This is the best way to find a specific magazine, journal or newspaper.

For example, if I am searching to see if MU Libraries has access to the Journal of the American Medical Association or the Wall Street Journal, I would use the Journals Search.  If I am searching for a specific article out of one of those journals, I would search Summon or one or more of the article databases.
