Browzine is an application that allows users to browse scholarly journals by title or subject. In addition, users can download articles from favorite journals to read later and/or set up content alerts by registering for their own personal account.

EndNote is an advanced tool for managing bibliographies, citations, and references. It is is licensed for everyone at Marshall University. Your Marshall email address is your "username".

If you want to borrow a book that MU Libraries do not own, borrow from this group. Most items ship within 3-5 business days and can be borrowed for 84 days (12 weeks) but cannot be renewed (note: library accounts expire at the end of each semester, so an EZ Borrow item borrowed later in the semester can only be checked out until this expiration date).

If you are on campus a Google Scholar search will help to identify items fulll text articles that are available through library subsriptions and holdings. On campus and off campus, Google Scholar will greatly expand your search results.

Request articles and other items that are not available through the MU Libraries. Articles are often delivered within 24 business hours to your desktop.

Marshall Digital Scholar (MDS) is an Institutional Repository (IR). Institutional Repositories (IRs) bring together all of a University's research under one umbrella, with an aim to preserve and provide access to that research. IRs are an excellent vehicle for working papers or copies of published articles and conference papers. Presentations, senior theses, and other works not published elsewhere can also be published in the IR.

Monitor items you've checked out, renew items (some exceptions apply), save searches, and build title lists.

The Textbook Loan Program began in the fall of 2014 as a student support initiative. Textbooks for many gateway and core curriculum courses are available for short-term loan to those with Marshall University library privileges.

Library instruction sessions are available to Marshall students, faculty, and staff. Faculty may request sessions.
