Kathryn Thompson #FeatureFriday
Kathryn Thompson is a Graduate Assistant in Marshall’s English Department. As part of her assistantship, she is currently working in the Drinko Library Writing Center as a writing tutor. The Writing Center, on Drinko’s second floor, seeks to help students perfect their writing abilities by aiding them in every stage of the writing process—from brainstorming and drafting to proofreading final drafts and practicing presentations. While she enjoys working in the Writing Center, Kathryn is looking forward to teaching her own English 101 courses next semester, while working on her thesis about the literature of C.S. Lewis. Her research interests include history, mixed-media storytelling, children’s fantasy, and the role of nature in literature.
