Library Display Requests: Spaces

Members of the Marshall and Huntington communities may use this information to learn about the procedures for requesting a display in Drinko Library.

This page identifies possibilities and limitations of each display space option within the library, as well as showing examples of previous displays within the spaces. Please use this information to determine which type of display will best serve your needs.

Tables

Table for displays are 2.5' x 6' and may be located throughout the library at the display committee's discretion. Items on tables are not secured, so this type of display works best for inclusion of SWAG items.

Locked Cases

Displayed items must be under 45 inches high, by 26 inches wide, by 7 inches deep, and weigh 5 pounds to fit within display cases. Because these cases are locked, they are the most secure option, however the library is not responsible for items left on display.

Walls

2D wall hangings require frames with hanging wire. Hangings are limited to a height of 8 feet.

Book Shelves

Our 3 shelf units can be combined with an easel or white board for an interactive display. These are often primarily library materials with brochures, SWAG, and/or flyers from different departments on campus.
