Tools for Success - Teaching Online

This guide is for faculty members looking for tools that can help them be successful facilitators of online education. Specifically created during the COVID-19 crisis, the tools listed in this guide can be useful for anyone teaching distance courses.

 

LECTURE-CAPTURE & STREAMING


  • Ensemble - Record video lectures that can be posted to Blackboard using Marshall University’s media content management system. It enables efficient, coordinated, and collaborative rich media management. Ensemble allows for on-demand streaming of videos with enterprise level security and control.   • TechSmith Relay - A presentation capture tool designed to streamline the recording process, Techsmith Relay records what is on the computer screen with audio and optional video to provide lectures and learning objects to students. To learn more contact the MUOnline Design Center.
