Google Slides

We will use Google Slides to create the visual elements of our escape room.

  • Click Blank Presentation
  • Add Title
    • Format text
  • Add background photo or chose from available colors and backgrounds.

    • Format Options à Opacity (allow text to show)
    • Arrange à Order (to move elements forward and backward)
    • Slide à Duplicate slides to save time, especially if using a single background.

  • Duplicate or create slides until finished.

If we you need to zoom in on an image you can make a slide featuring a cropped section of the document (I like to go to the original and use my Snipping Tool). You can also insert a URL into your Google Form for the appropriate clue.

  • To add Slides to Google Forms, we will need to download them. For this exercise download them separately as you need them in case you need to make changes.

    • File à Download à PNG Image (current slide)
