Last year, Marshall launched the creation of HerdCon, a Pop Culture and Comic Convention. We are in the process of recruiting volunteers for the HerdCon 2020! The only requirement is that individuals are able to work one consecutive four-hour block.
HerdCon will be held at the Marshall University Memorial Student Center on Saturday, March 14, 2020. If anyone interested in volunteering this year, we will have two days where individuals will have an opportunity. We need individuals on Friday, March 13, to assist with the general Con setup during the day and assisting with helping vendors unload their items after business hours. On Saturday, March 14, we have several areas where volunteers can participate, including attendee registration assistance, registration of our vendors/volunteer check-in, assisting vendors with unloading materials, general floaters, and assisting with cleanup.
If anyone is interested in getting involved this year, have them email me, Lindsey Harper, at firstname.lastname@example.org. I’ve attached a copy of this year’s Save the Date, but you can also find HerdCon on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/herdcon) and Instagram (@HerdConWV). Be sure to share the event with the campus and Huntington-community.
Volunteers receive a 2020 HerdCon t-shirt
for working a four-hour shift.
