Accreditation Bodies

Accreditation organizations sometimes include library standards. In addition to library standards, look for policies related to information literacy.

CHEA Council for Higher Education Accreditation
Provides listing of accreditations for institutions.
Database of Accredited Postsecondary Institutions and Programs
From the U.S. Department of Education. Comprehensive listing of accrediting bodies as well as information on each accreditation earned by specific institutions.
Higher Learning Commission
Marshall University is accredited by the HLC.
Middle States Commission on Higher Education
Includes Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
New England Association of Schools and Colleges
