U - Military Art and Science
V - Naval Art and Science

Be aware that books on specific battles and wars are located in the LOC History areas - D, E, F (i.e. American Civil War E460-E655, World War II D731-D838, etc.). Also, many American Civil War books are located in Special Collections or the Rosanna A. Blake Library of Confederate History.
