Interlibrary Loan at Marshall Libraries

Information Delivery Service (IDS) at Marshall Libraries is our interlibrary loan service for providing books and articles that we don't own.  The service works well and is quick.  Through our ILL database, we are able to search the catalogs of several thousand (almost every academic and public library in the U.S.) libraries simultaneously to find what you need.  Dissertation level research requires you to gather books and articles beyond Marshall's shelves so plan to make use of this service.  In most cases, requested articles are sent to you electronically so there is no charge for copies.  Books received from other libraries are also free.  Links to IDS are to the left.  If you have questions about how to enter citiation information, when you can expect your materials to come in, or how to access electronic articles, please contact Kacy Lovelace at 304-696-6226 or kacy.lovelace@marshall.edu at the Drinko Library or Heather Lauer at 304-746-8906 or heather.lauer@marshall.edu in South Charleston.
