Psychology is the scientific study of human cognition, affect, behavior, and relationships. Psychologists seek to understand, predict, and influence behavior on a wide range of issues that affect human functioning, including social, physiological, developmental, cognitive and emotional factors. Since research in psychology may involve other disciplines (such as medicine, philosophy, and education) you will need to consult resources and study guides for those fields as well.
